iM Robotics Corp. (CEO Sung Youb Cho) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.
iM Robotics focuses on harmonizing robots, the environment, and humans by developing automation solutions, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), AI vision, and smart farm technologies. As a deep-tech company, it continues enhancing its capabilities by integrating and applying advanced technologies and delivering solutions that improve customer and everyday value.
At FIX 2024, iM Robotics showcased its diverse lineup of AMR products. The AMR series (M200, M500, M1000, M2000) is designed with high-strength frames and optimized structures, enabling payload capacities ranging from 200 kg to 2,000 kg, depending on the model.
The AMRs feature patented suspension technology that ensures all six wheels maintain contact with the ground. This provides exceptional stability for cargo loading and movement. The system also boasts precision, with a repeatability of ±3 mm.
The wide-ranging capabilities and performance of iM Robotics’ AMRs have attracted domestic and international clients, including automotive component manufacturers. Some products have completed demonstration tests, while others are in advanced discussions for delivery.
An iM Robotics representative stated, “We are a company with in-house expertise in both hardware and software for autonomous robots, leading the localization of high-payload AMRs. We are also nearing the completion of a control and monitoring system capable of managing up to 100 AMRs simultaneously, which has garnered significant anticipation from existing clients.”
The representative added, “We are delighted to showcase our technological excellence at a major event like FIX 2024, introducing our solutions to a multinational audience of visitors and buyers. This opportunity allows us to identify potential clients domestically and globally while keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
