Samkee participated in the ‘Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024)’ at Daegu EXCO from October 23 to 26.

Samkee, a die-casting specialist driving the lightweight future of automobiles, pursues sustainable growth through continuous technological innovation. The company aims to lead South Korea’s die-casting industry by leveraging its extensive experience, expertise, and skilled workforce to push the boundaries of technological development.

Currently, Samkee develops and produces die-casting products for all automotive applications, from engines and transmissions to vehicle bodies. Their portfolio includes components for traditional internal combustion engines and electric vehicles, covering the full range of automotive powertrains.

At the exhibition, the company highlighted its flagship product, the ‘BATTERY END_PLATE,’ designed to attach to both ends of battery modules. It prevents battery cells from being exposed and protects internal module components. The product features excellent mechanical strength and lightweight properties, enhancing the safety of secondary batteries.

The CELL CONTACT System (CCS) was also introduced. This sub-assembly circuit connects cells in series and parallel within battery modules, sensing voltage and temperature critical for battery control and transmitting this data to the Battery Management System (BMS).
