Mugyeol ENG participated in the “2024 Future Innovation tech eXpo (FIX 2024)” held from October 23 to October 26 at Daegu EXCO, highlighting its expertise in hydroforming technology. Specializing in hydraulic forming principles, the company develops and manufactures components for aircraft, ships, and next-generation vehicles, focusing on increased durability and lightweight designs.

Key products on display included water heater housings, exhaust heat recovery device housings, stiffeners, air pistons, pipe cells, and T-pipes.

Hydroforming involves injecting liquid into a die to apply the pressure required for shaping. This technology enables the expansion of steel pipes and achieves seamless, integrated forms. It offers several advantages, such as weight reduction, enhanced strength and durability, and minimized weld joints. Additionally, it applies to materials prone to wrinkling, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and SPCC.
