    Kunwoo Metal participated in the “2024 Future Innovation tech eXpo (FIX 2024)” at Daegu EXCO from October 23 to October 26, showcasing its advanced hot forging technology. Established in 1994, Kunwoo Metal specializes in producing hot-forged components and operates six forging press lines, each producing 1,000 to 2,000 tons, ensuring high-quality production.

    Guided by the belief that research and development drive a company’s future, Kunwoo Metal integrates its sales, production, and R&D departments to deliver premium forging solutions. The company highlighted its main production components, including bearings, hub gears, and pulleys, along with key equipment such as a 1,350-ton press, a 2,000-ton press, and a 1,300-ton press. Additional facilities include CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, and inspection and auxiliary equipment.

    Kunwoo Metal expressed its ambition: “We aim to grow into a trusted company known for quality and hard work, competing in the global market with advanced technology.”

    FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
