MAYTON (CEO Namsoo Kim), a startup specializing in mobility and lifestyle hardware, participated in the “2024 Future Innovation tech eXpo (FIX 2024)” held from October 23 to October 26 at Daegu EXCO. Through this exhibition, MAYTON aimed to enhance brand recognition, explore new business opportunities, and strengthen customer engagement while keeping up with market trends.
At the center of MAYTON’s showcase was the ‘AUTOPRO X’ infotainment system. Designed to surpass the limitations of traditional Android Auto, AUTOPRO X offers an infotainment experience tailored to Korean consumers. It supports Samsung DeX, enabling users to connect their Samsung flagship smartphones wirelessly and access all smartphone apps and features directly on the vehicle screen. This system provides seamless functionality and automated network connectivity across different languages and regions.
A representative from MAYTON stated, “We are committed to going beyond the traditional aftermarket by developing products that redefine the driving experience.” AUTOPRO X, the result of this commitment, “enhances the in-vehicle infotainment experience in line with the future of mobility, offering cars a purpose beyond mere transportation.”
AUTOPRO X made a strong debut on Kickstarter this year, raising approximately $180,000 and receiving enthusiastic responses. MAYTON aims to leverage its hardware expertise to expand globally, using FIX 2024 to showcase its technology and products to new markets.
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services.
