Jinn Co., Ltd. (CEO Jinn Jung) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at EXCO in Daegu.
Jinn provides single- and multi-axis vibration durability testing equipment, utilizing Electrodynamic Shakers and Electromagnetic Actuators (EMAs) for various industries domestically and internationally. The company has developed customized testing systems using its proprietary EMA technology, including single- and multi-axis vibration durability testers, road load simulators, camera durability testers, and micro-particle separators.
In collaboration with domestic automakers and auto parts manufacturers, Jinn has developed suspension module NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance testers and suspension module noise testers with EMAs. It provides customized testing services that meet specific client requirements.
Jinn’s products are widely used in sectors such as Korea’s electric, electronic, automotive, and rail industries. For operational convenience, installations and training are provided. The company also offers systematic after-sales service and regular maintenance to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
With over 70% of Korea’s electromagnetic testing equipment market dominated by foreign products, Jinn’s EMA technology stands out. It is supported by ISO certification, venture certification, Main Biz certification, and 14 related patents.
A Jinn representative stated, “To boost recognition of domestically developed equipment, we engage in diverse marketing through online and offline channels. This allows us to communicate directly with customers, understand their needs, and provide optimized solutions. This exhibition is part of that effort.”
As the electric vehicle market grows globally, the need for electromagnetic testing equipment has increased, and Jinn’s EMA-based testing equipment minimizes the limitations of traditional mechanical and hydraulic systems. Key features include low-noise, high-precision operation suitable for noise analysis and testing in high-frequency ranges (up to 350Hz), which is challenging for mechanical and hydraulic systems. It allows for control and synchronization of various factors (acceleration, velocity, displacement, force). It offers convenient features like no need for hydraulic oil and a design that doesn’t require cables attached to moving parts.
The EMA-equipped Road Load Simulator enables rapid testing of vehicle durability and dynamic characteristics. It reproduces various road environments for comprehensive evaluations.
The representative added, “Our EMA is a next-generation smart actuator that enhances the strengths and minimizes the weaknesses of traditional hydraulic actuators, optimized for precise control and repetitive durability testing. We are currently developing a high-frequency (380Hz), large-displacement (300mm), and high-capacity (20kN) actuator to meet complex and diverse customer requirements, with active research and development of customized testing equipment.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Start-up Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
