Lee Mobility participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.
Lee Mobility Co., Ltd. aims to create a sustainable smart city mobility safety infrastructure that protects public safety, social assets, and firefighters. The company developed the EV-GUDIAN in response to increasing electric vehicle fires. According to the company, this system addresses the lack of effective suppression methods for prolonged electric vehicle battery fires and quickly and safely extinguishes them.
The EV-Guardian uses a sharp, dual-penetrating nozzle to inject a special lithium battery extinguishing agent designed for electric vehicle fires.
Lee Mobility representative stated, “When a fire occurs in an electric vehicle, the system positions itself before the burning car and operates remotely to ensure safety. The nozzle device is placed under the vehicle and hydraulically lifted to penetrate the battery pack. Once the penetration is complete, the nozzle sprays the extinguishing agent to suppress the fire.”
They continued, “Monitoring fires during charging leads the way in fundamental electric vehicle fire suppression. It helps avoid diverting significant personnel and equipment, preventing oversight of other risks. The system remotely controls and extinguishes fires to protect firefighter safety. We aim to lead the future of sustainable smart city mobility safety infrastructure.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups.
