AIChemist Inc. (CEO Jeong Min-wook) announced its participation in the Future Innovation-tech eXpo 2024 (FIX 2024) from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.
AIChemist was founded with the vision that modern alchemists do not create gold but rather generate new value through data and artificial intelligence. The company aims to provide users struggling with data shortages or vulnerabilities with the perfect data through its SaaS-based synthetic data platform.
AIChemist highlighted its proprietary procedural algorithm that can generate the desired terrain and city within one hour using only GIS and cadastral maps. This method is more than ten times cheaper than the 3D scanning approaches used by companies like Tesla and Nvidia and offers advantages in physical simulation. These automated digital twins can be used for synthetic data and applied to various industries, helping businesses and society overcome challenges.
The company collaborates with global enterprises such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Korea Water Resources Corporation, and Samsung C-lab.
At this exhibition, AIChemist will present CEN, an advanced platform for 3D simulations and synthetic data designed to create realistic environments and significantly reduce data labeling costs and time.
CEN v1.0 integrates terrain generation technology using satellite data, enhancing identification accuracy during background generation and creating terrain over 90% similar to real-world landscapes in 10 minutes. The platform provides simple digital twins without the need for expensive equipment like drones or software, setting a new standard for the industry.
AIChemist representatives noted, “CEN v1.0 is the first platform to successfully commercialize this technology, setting new benchmarks for the synthetic data sector. Users experience over a 30% increase in learning data efficiency and a 40% boost in time efficiency for developers who struggle with data authorization.”
Looking ahead, AIChemist plans to showcase its cutting-edge vision synthesis technology at CES 2025 in the U.S. early next year. The company will demonstrate its OneClick-based digital twin and high-performance synthetic data with over 90% recognition accuracy, marking an important milestone in the artificial data field.
AIChemist recently secured 500 million KRW in funding and aims to achieve 1 million USD in revenue and export sales by the second half of next year. With a series of investments, it plans to achieve unprecedented growth in the data industry.
FIX 2024 will feature specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing will showcase trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, will exhibit AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo will display industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Start-up Arena” will also be newly launched, facilitating meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
