WARP Solution Inc. (CEO Lee Kyung Hak) participated in the ‘Global Media Online Meetup’ event on August 19, hosted in partnership with the US tech media outlet GEEKSPIN. This event aims to introduce Korean startups’ products and technologies to the global market, focusing on pre-reporting business opportunities for startups applying for the CES 2025 Innovation Awards.
Established in 2016, WARP Solution specializes in RF wireless charging technology, developing essential non-memory semiconductors like ultra-small RF amplifiers and high-frequency rectifier components. By advancing RF wireless charging technology, WARP Solution provides solutions that wirelessly power various devices in everyday life.
WARP Solution was pivotal in establishing the RF wireless charging standards in Korea through the ICT regulatory sandbox in collaboration with the Korean government. They contributed to the standardization and safety of wireless charging technology in Korea and obtained FCC Part 18 certification, demonstrating the global reliability of their technology. Through partnerships with major corporations like Samsung, LG Electronics, SK Telecom, and Hyundai, WARP Solution continues to strengthen its market presence domestically and internationally.
At the meetup, WARP Solution showcased its flagship product, ‘Space:on.’ A modern minimalist desk lamp from the outside, Space:on has RF wireless charging technology to charge multiple smart devices within a 40cm radius.
WARP Solution’s patented RF wireless charging technology, combined with its proprietary MFMC (Multi-Frequency Multi-Charging) technology, automatically selects the most efficient frequency for power transmission, optimizing energy distribution and efficiency. The integrated IoT functionality monitors device charging levels, allowing users to check the status of their devices in real time via a smartphone app, enhancing the user experience.
WARP Solution targets the US and Japanese markets to strengthen its global presence. Both have established RF wireless charging standards and are industry leaders.
WARP Solution is significantly focused on the US market. The company has developed RF wireless charging technology compliant with FCC Part 18, ensuring its commercial success and widespread application in the US. A company representative stated, “We are collaborating with major technology and telecom companies such as Apple, Google, and Verizon to expand our technological presence in the US market.”
The company also views Japan as a critical market, where its RF wireless charging technology complies with Japan-MIC standards. As Japan values technological innovation, WARP Solution anticipates high demand for its advanced RF technology. The company aims to collaborate with Japanese electronics giants like Sony, Panasonic, and Nikon to expand its influence in the Japanese market.
WARP Solution plans to actively participate in key exhibitions in the US and Japan, including ‘CES’ in the US and ‘CEATEC’ in Japan, where they will showcase their latest RF wireless charging technology. They intend to demonstrate innovative products like Space:on and engage directly with local consumers to highlight their unique features and usage.
WARP Solution will launch localized marketing campaigns in the US and work with local partners to expand its distribution network in Japan to boost its presence further. The company representative shared, “We plan to enhance brand awareness through targeted social media advertising and influencer marketing in each region. Participating in local tech exhibitions will help promote new products and gather direct customer feedback. Through these strategies, WARP Solution aims to accelerate growth in the global market and establish itself as a leader in RF wireless charging technology.”
