DK-LOK (CEO Hyoun Soo “Steve” Kim) participated in H2 MEET 2024, held from September 25 to 27 at KINTEX, Goyang.
DK-LOK specializes in manufacturing high-quality fittings and valves, supplying these products to industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, machinery, construction, shipbuilding, semiconductors, and displays. The company continues to expand its business reach across various sectors.
In 2010, DK-LOK was successfully listed on KOSDAQ. By 2014, it won the $30 million Export Tower award, followed by the $50 million Export Tower award in 2022, establishing itself as a strong export-driven company.
At this exhibition, DK-LOK showcased the ‘DKF’ series, a product line widely used in hydrogen measurement and control systems. The DKF series is exceptionally durable and can handle high-pressure gas flows up to 1,034 bar.
Unlike other products with similar pressure specifications that use a cone-and-thread connection, the DKF series supports a simple fastening method without requiring pipe machining. The fittings also perform excellent sealing, even under high pressure and extreme vibration conditions.
DK-LOK also introduced other high-pressure fittings, including the ‘DK-LOK Double Ferrule Fittings,’ certified with EC79 and capable of handling pressures up to 350 bar, and the ‘SAE J1453 O-Ring Face Seal Fitting,’ which boasts pressure performance of up to 700 bar, ideal for high-pressure CNG, NGV, and hydrogen gas applications.
A DK-LOK representative emphasized, “We have earned international certification for high-pressure hydrogen piping and fittings, establishing ourselves as a leader in quality within the domestic industry. The DKF series, in particular, is used by global leaders like Iljin Hysolus for their hydrogen MEGC (Multiple Element Gas Containers), reflecting growing interest from top companies in the hydrogen economy.”
They added, “Our DKF series is emerging as a strong alternative to products from leading companies in the same field, with inquiries from U.S. and European customers rapidly increasing. We will continue enhancing our hydrogen measurement and control technology, solidifying our position as a trusted partner delivering top-quality solutions.”
H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for Korean and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. From this year, H2 MEET aims to become a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to understanding South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD and concurrently with the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and HARFKO (Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition—Korea) 2024 at KINTEX 1.
