K-FUELCELL (CEO Sung-wook Na) participated in ‘H2 MEET 2024,’ held from September 25 to 27 at KINTEX, Goyang. The company specializes in developing and producing hydrogen fuel cell systems, offering optimized specifications and features tailored for various applications, from mobility solutions to building systems. K-FUELCELL has also expanded its portfolio to include Balance of Plant (BOP) components related to hydrogen systems, showcasing its extensive capabilities in the hydrogen energy sector.

K-FUELCELL has been advancing its business by developing systemized products and leveraging its fuel cell components and stack technology expertise. The company continues to grow by expanding the application areas of its fuel cell solutions.

At the exhibition, K-FUELCELL presented a range of hydrogen fuel cell systems. Their mobility products are designed for a variety of vehicles, including small mobility solutions like golf carts and motorcycles and larger mobility options such as buses, forklifts, and heavy equipment. To address the limitations of traditional electric vehicles, such as charging time and driving range, K-FUELCELL’s products incorporate a ‘Range Extender’ approach, effectively doubling driving range and significantly reducing charging time compared to conventional battery-only systems.

K-FUELCELL also showcased a building fuel cell system that uses reformed LNG gas to generate electricity for buildings. This system captures waste heat from the power generation process and converts it into hot water, enhancing efficiency. It is suitable for use in public facilities, residential buildings, and hotels, offering increased energy stability and reducing operational costs for building management.

Additionally, K-FUELCELL introduced a power generation fuel cell system capable of adjusting its modules according to power requirements, making it adaptable for various output ranges. These systems highlighted K-FUELCELL’s broad product capabilities and drew attention from visitors.

A company representative stated, “We have completed the development of mobility, building, and power generation fuel cell systems, including a 30kW system, which we plan to supply to public and private sectors through government projects.” The representative added, “We aim to respond swiftly to changes in hydrogen energy regulations domestically and internationally, accelerating our entry into global markets.”

The spokesperson explained, “By participating in H2 MEET, Korea’s largest and internationally renowned exhibition, we aimed to showcase our products’ strengths and build networks with overseas buyers, laying the groundwork for global expansion. Additionally, we expect to enhance our technology and competitiveness through exchanges with other companies advancing in the same industry.”
