Hygen Tech Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Ok-mi Joo) participated in ‘H2 MEET 2024,’ held from September 25 (Wednesday) to 27 (Friday) at KINTEX, Goyang.

Since its inception, Hygen Tech Solution has developed various types of hydrogen gas generation systems, including high-purity and large-scale devices, along with combustion systems based on these technologies. The company has been refining its expertise in electrolysis equipment designed to separate hydrogen and oxygen from water, enhancing stability and performance. The systems adjust hydrogen and oxygen output levels based on usage needs, making them suitable for welding, cutting, glass processing, generator cooling, and reduction heat treatment applications. These features have earned the company recognition for their high applicability across various industries in both domestic and international markets.

Hygen Tech Solution presented its hydrogen generation systems and related technologies at this exhibition. The system includes a water electrolysis stack, a gas-liquid separation system isolating hydrogen, oxygen, and electrolyte after electrolysis, and a gas purification system designed to deliver high-purity hydrogen.

Each system component is designed and manufactured according to the KGS AG271 code, and all processes undergo thorough verification by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, ensuring high reliability and safety. Based on 30 years of experience in electrolysis technology, Hygen Tech Solution has optimized automatic control systems and safety devices for seamless and safe operation by facility managers.

Hygen Tech Solution’s electrolysis systems can purify hydrogen gas to a purity level of up to 99.999%, a figure verified through high-pressure quality tests by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation and hydrogen gas sample tests by the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science. The company emphasized that these high quality and safety standards contribute to developing the hydrogen economy domestically and internationally.

A representative from Hygen Tech Solution stated, “Through this exhibition, we aim to showcase our technology, manufacturing capabilities, and operational expertise in producing environmentally friendly green hydrogen. While the domestic green hydrogen electrolysis market still faces challenges such as high production costs, we are confident that the level of our technology, as well as that of other core technology companies, is on par with or exceeds that of international standards.”

The representative added, “For example, the 250Nm3-class electrolysis facility established through the hydrogen production demonstration system project in Ansan, completed in May, achieved a hydrogen purity of 99.9997% and passed KGS high-pressure quality tests, demonstrating the advanced state of our technology. We aim to support the competitiveness of the domestic hydrogen industry and aspire to become a global leader in the hydrogen economy.”

H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for Korean and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. From this year, H2 MEET aims to become a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to understanding South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD and concurrently with the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and HARFKO (Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition—Korea) 2024 at KINTEX 1.
