Synopex participated in ‘H2 MEET 2024’ at KINTEX, Goyang, from September 25 (Wednesday) to 27 (Friday).
Founded in 1994, Synopex is a Korean company that manufactures filters and precision components. Its main business units are the Filter Division and the Electronic Components Division. The Filter Division supplies high-quality filters for water, air, and industrial usages essential for the semiconductor, display, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage industries.
The Electronic Components Division manufactures precision parts used in smartphones, displays, and semiconductor equipment, utilizing high-precision machining technology to produce core components for electronic and electrical products. Synopex is committed to enhancing the quality and efficiency of its products through continuous research and development and technological innovation. The company also focuses on developing eco-friendly products to strengthen its position in domestic and international markets.
The ‘Polymer Electrolyte Membrane’ featured at the exhibition uses Synopex’s high-strength ePTFE membrane, forming a reinforced composite membrane with excellent physical and chemical durability. The membrane selectively allows only hydrogen ions to pass while blocking gas and electrons.
The humidification membrane, a hollow fiber membrane, selectively permeates moisture from the hot and humid air emitted from the stack, maintaining consistent humidity within the stack to optimize performance. The hollow fiber-type humidification membrane boasts a high surface area-to-volume ratio, superior humidification performance, flexible design potential, and excellent durability and stability.
H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for Korean and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. From this year, H2 MEET aims to become a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to understanding South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD and concurrently with the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and HARFKO (Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition—Korea) 2024 at KINTEX 1.
