Thinking Friends (CEO Kim Kang-min) announced its participation in the 2024 World IT Show (WIS 2024), which will be held at COEX in Seoul from April 17th (Wednesday) to 19th (Friday).
Thinking Friends is a company that provides an AI development all-in-one care SaaS called ‘TAS’ (Total AI Solution), which allows users to create vision-based AI models with no code easily.
TAS has been highlighted as the flagship product at this year’s exhibition. The solution stands out for allowing users, even those who are not developers, to create vision AI models with just a few button clicks. It also supports easy use of created AI models, providing API support and a deployment system that allows distribution to on-device devices, such as industrial sites with closed networks. According to the company, this can be achieved with just a few button clicks.
Thinking Friends stated, “There are tasks that require human eyes, such as checking whether soldering has been done or if items are inside. These tasks are not difficult but can be tedious and sometimes overlooked, leading to problems. We developed related solutions to address this with vision technology for companies lacking AI experts.” They further explained, “Now, anyone can easily build vision technology to automate repetitive tasks that require judgment by sight. We decided to participate in this exhibition to promote this alongside the launch of TAS.”
They added, “Currently, parts require software development personnel for implementation. We are focusing on improving the convenience of AI models by AI on-device devices so they can be used even without development personnel.” They also mentioned their goal of challenging the digitalization of industrial sites in Japan after validating their services in the domestic market.
Under the theme of ‘AI Creating Everyday Innovation, World IT Show,’ WIS 2024 will showcase the latest technologies and products in various fields, including AI & IoT technology and platforms, 5G connectivity, wireless communication technology and networks, cloud & big data, digital twin & metaverse, smart living and healthcare, robotics, autonomous and eco-friendly mobility, blockchain & security, and quantum information technology.
