Konan Technology (CEO Kim Young-Seom) announced its participation in the 2024 World IT Show (WIS 2024) from April 17th (Wednesday) to 19th (Friday) at COEX in Seoul.
Positioning itself as an artificial intelligence (AI) software specialist, Konan Technology possesses core technical capabilities in four areas: text AI, video AI, digital twin, and foundation technology. Based on this, the company provides search engines, chatbots, large language models (LLM), and digital twin solutions to various fields such as public, manufacturing, finance, and defense.
At this exhibition, Konan Technology will showcase AI and digital transformation (DX) solutions that enhance productivity and safety management capabilities for companies, institutions, and organizations.
The company’s flagship product, the proprietary language model ‘Konan LLM,’ is an AI document generation developed to increase work efficiency. It is characterized by enhanced answer reliability through search-enhanced generation (RAG) technology implemented through vector search engines. It also ensures convenient usability with a no-code MLOps management tool provided on-premises, allowing its use without the risk of leaking important information.
Alongside this, ‘Konan PHM’ is a predictive maintenance solution for aircraft, fighter jets, and manufacturing plant parts and equipment maintenance. It provides highly accurate predictive results through a hybrid combination of digital twin and AI models, allowing learning even when there is insufficient real fault data or no labeling data. Furthermore, it aims to be a solution that is applicable regardless of the type of sensor or part.
Konan Technology stated, “Konan LLM and Konan PHM, developed to enhance the efficiency of practitioners’ work, demonstrate high usability in various environments and boast the advantage of applying to various applications.” They added, “Konan LLM is currently responding to the demand for government-wide AI adoption, such as participating in the PoC of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security’s AI administrative support service development project. Additionally, we plan to launch PHM solutions for aircraft parts and manufacturing process fields in July and December of this year.”
They further explained, “Through this exhibition, we aim to promote our self-developed LLM and PHM solutions with our own AI technology, increase our company’s recognition across the industry, explore new business opportunities by identifying the target audience for both products and strengthen the competitiveness of our company and products by grasping the latest technological trends.”
