Health Nuri Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-hoon) announced that it will participate in the 39th International Medical Equipment and Hospital Equipment Exhibition ‘KIMES 2024’, which will be held at COEX, Seoul from March 14th (Thursday) to March 17th (Sunday).
Health Nuri is a medical supplies development company that strives to develop 2 to 3 items of surgical essential medical supplies and new healthcare products every year. In particular, it is recognized in the fields of color cast shoes, finger prints, and gastroscopy mouthpieces, and is exported to 21 countries around the world.
At this year’s KIMES exhibition, we plan to mainly introduce the new product ‘K-CRUTCH’. K-CRUTCH is a free size crutch with a double height adjustment function independently developed by Health Nuri as a crutch for patients with leg casts. One size can be adjusted from 92 to 133 cm (recommended height 135 to 190 cm), eliminating the hassle of exchanging or returning because the size does not fit.
Health Nuri said, “If the length of crutches is not suitable for the user, pain occurs in the shoulders, armpits, wrists, etc., but K-CRUTCH allows for more precise length adjustment, which also helps prevent such complications.” “Crutches supplied around the world are We developed a new product based on the fact that it was bulky and had difficulties with logistics. K-CRUTCH is only 92cm in length when shrunk, so it solves the problem of pickup being rejected by courier companies and also reduces logistics costs. “Hospitals or businesses only need to stock one size, making inventory and space management much easier,” he explained.
Currently, Health Nuri is in the process of supplying contracts to famous domestic university hospitals, and is expanding its presence in the global market by participating in the American Orthopedic Association (San Francisco, USA) in February, the FIME Medical Devices Exhibition (Miami, USA) in June, and the MEDICA Medical Devices (Düsseldorf, Germany) exhibition in November. The plan is to accelerate entry into the market. In addition, a total of 29 design applications have been completed in Korea and China, and efforts are being made to secure intellectual property rights in the US, European, and Japanese markets.
We are also developing shoulder support cushions for patients who use crutches for long periods of time and a pouch specifically for crutches to carry belongings, and plan to introduce them at the KIMES exhibition in the future.
