    Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, the center of investment attraction, successfully concluded the 1st Startup 815 IR

    Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Shin Hyun-sam, hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’) announced on the 1st that it successfully held the ‘1st Startup 815 IR’ held at the Pangyo Startup Zone on the 31st.

    ‘Startup 815 IR’ is an investment attraction program conducted by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center in collaboration with the Gyeongji Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration and Gachon University. Every month, we plan to discover excellent startups in Gyeonggi-do and provide companies with opportunities to promote their businesses and attract investment.

    The event on this day consisted of the ‘Scale Up Track’ for startups less than 7 years old, hosted by Startup Zone, and the ‘Jump Up Track’, for startups less than 3 years old, hosted by Gachon University. A total of 8 teams participated, including 4 teams from start-up zones and 4 promising startups from Gyeonggi-do.

    The scale-up track includes ▲’Rendezvous’ (smart farm automation robot), ▲’OpusM’ (blockchain middleware framework solution), ▲’Pixolo’ (mobile vision measurement solution and eye care product), and ▲’Aica’ ( Connected Car Platform) participated and introduced its core technology and vision.

    VCs interested in investing in the DNA field, including NextG Investment, Idea Bridge, Infobank, Korea Investment Partners, and Daedeok Venture Partners, served as judges.

    The jump-up track includes ▲’Agile Growth’ (AI learning data processing and data brokerage platform), ▲’Caramel Soft’ (industrial analog measuring instrument IoT digitization remote control service), and ▲’SRT Lab’ (branding production service through corporate data matching). ), ▲’Watt’ (equipment history management system using AR) participated.

    K-Lun Ventures, Kingo Spring, Infobank iExcel, Credit Guarantee Fund, and P&P Investment participated as reviewers.

    The event was held with IR pitching by companies followed by feedback from investment experts, followed by follow-up networking for practical investment connections.

    An investment company official who participated as a judge on this day said, “It was a Startup 815 event where we could meet excellent companies in the DNA field,” and “We were able to discover excellent companies based on innovative technology in line with our expectations.”

    Startup 815 is held on the last Thursday of every month, and the next event is scheduled to be held on April 28.

    Meanwhile, the Startup Zone is Korea’s largest startup support cluster, established in 2017 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively foster promising startups in new industries, and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
