    ​[Pangyo Tech] Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center begins discovering early startups through ‘Startup 815 SEED’

    Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (Center Director Shin Hyun-sam, hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’) announced on the 23rd that it successfully held the ‘2022 5th Startup 815 SEED’ on the 19th.

    Startup 815 SEED is an IR program where the Gyeonggi Innovation Center collaborates with angel investors, accelerators, and venture capitalists to discover very early and early-stage startups and support them in securing investment networks and attracting investments. It is held on the third Thursday of every month at the Pangyo Startup Zone.

    A total of four prospective startup companies participated in this event. ▲Barcoder (platform linking online and offline shopping through barcode scanning function) ▲Metacle Co., Ltd. (Metaverse-based ship life cycle management SW solution) ▲Edint (online test AI management and supervision service) ▲Propmate (Land) Each information-based single-family home construction information provision system introduced its core technologies and business plans.

    VCs interested in discovering and investing in early-stage startups participated as judges, such as Meshup Angels, Blue Ocean Investors Association, Capstone Partners, Etri Holdings, North Mountain Angel Club, and Tumblr Co., Ltd.

    An official at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “We will focus on very early and early-stage startups, focusing on the startup zone,” and “We plan to continue to provide functions and opportunities to drive early-stage companies with promising growth potential to growth.”
