Lutra (CEO Seon Jong-yeop), which develops and provides services so that anyone can easily and diversely use NFTs, announced on the 14th that it has launched ‘Clam’, an NFT platform that turns special moments in everyday life into works of art.
Clam is a service that stores and trades unique and meaningful experiences encountered in daily life in NFTs. By simply taking a photo and submitting it to various contests held within the app, you can issue an NFT containing the photo for free.
NFT is produced in the form of a card with a sophisticated design, and the card records contest information and space-time information used to prove participation. The card is automatically uploaded to Opensea, the world’s largest NFT exchange, allowing users to freely buy and sell it.
Clam plans to continue to hold its own contests and contests in collaboration with companies to collect people’s special and meaningful experiences. The collected experiences will be reborn as another work containing a public message with the user’s consent, or displayed as a work in an offline exhibition combining AR technology.
Luthra CEO Seon Jong-yeop said, “Until now, the NFT industry had a structure that made it difficult for the general public to participate due to limited content and high technical barriers.” He added, “Through the Clam service, we have a culture of easily sharing and consuming special experiences around us in the form of NFT.” “I hope it becomes established,” he said.
Meanwhile, Luthra is currently a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
