AhnLab (CEO Seok-gyun Kang) has launched a campaign with the goal of donating 2,000 books over 24 weeks by the end of the year.
This ‘2000 Book Donation Campaign’ is an event from the perspective of resource recycling and social contribution in which executives and employees donate books they no longer read.
AhnLab plans to deliver all donated books to ‘Beautiful Store Treasure Island’ by the end of the year, and deliver the proceeds to neighbors in need in the Seongnam area.
During the campaign period, AhnLab plans to collect and share stories related to donated books to encourage the interest and participation of executives and employees, and also select the year-end book donation king.
“The book donation campaign is an event that embodies both the meaning of resource circulation by delivering books that are no longer used to people in need, and the meaning of social contribution by donating sales proceeds to the local community,” said Inchi-beom Inch, managing director of AhnLab’s sustainability management team. “We will continue to discover campaigns with a resource circulation perspective that executives and employees can easily implement,” he said.
