    [Pangyo Tech] Deep Insight attracts Series A investment worth 3.5 billion won

    Deep Insight Co., Ltd. (CEO Eun-song Oh), a company specializing in AI-based 3D sensing cameras, announced on the 7th that it succeeded in attracting Series A investment worth 3.5 billion won.

    In this investment, based on the follow-up investment by Mando Co., Ltd., a seed investment company, Villans Investment and Cloud Investment participated as new investors.

    Since its founding in 2020, Deep Insight has been accelerating the development of short-range, ultra-small, and high-precision 3D sensing camera modules equipped with AI technology, and is focusing on internalizing core technologies and capabilities in the fields of mobility, smart factory, and digital twin.

    Since its founding, it has been collaborating with large corporations and industry-academic-research partners in each field based on its outstanding technological capabilities. This year, it was selected as ‘First Penguin’, a promising startup guarantee system by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT), and an innovative start-up in each field hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The value of its core technology has been recognized externally, such as by being selected as one of the ‘100 Materials, Parts, and Equipment Startups’.

    Currently, we are focusing on developing high value-added total solutions that combine AI technology and 3D sensing technology, such as ‘driver status recognition system’ and ‘volume measurement and management system’, and will widen the technology gap through research and development based on this investment fund.
