Team Solution announced on the 22nd that it has begun the ‘Digital Twin Facility Safety Demonstration Project’ hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The main core contents of this demonstration project are ▲prediction and diagnosis of failures in major parts of logistics automation equipment ▲prediction and notification of collision prevention between moving objects (workers, trains, etc.) through worker monitoring ▲safety such as fire recognition and evacuation guidance through sensor recognition It is a management function.
To this end, Team Solution will promote this project for 8 months until November 30th, using the Central Region Postal Logistics Center (IMC) of the Korea Post as a demonstration target.
What is noteworthy about this project is that it will use 5G-based digital twins to build IMC’s real-time safety innovation platform and use IoT and 3D modeling technology to discover specialized services related to demonstration facilities.
Team Solution will build a digital twin monitoring system, including IMC’s 3D spatial information construction, legacy system connection, and real-time data visualization, so that users can intuitively perceive the above contents.
In addition, in order to build 5G infrastructure, a consortium was formed with SK Telecom, Telesquare Co., Ltd., which analyzes voltage and current signals, and NCL Co., Ltd., which is in charge of the fire response system, to detect fires at IMC sites, detect safety between workers and equipment, and provide facilities. We plan to build a failure prediction and diagnosis system.
Kim Ji-in, CEO of Team Solution, said, “If a safety management system for large-scale logistics facilities is established through this demonstration project, we expect that large and small accidents that occur in the field will be reduced and the safety of the working environment will also be improved.” “If digital twin technology is successfully applied to public logistics centers, safety management technology will be able to be expanded to private logistics centers in the future,” he predicted.
