Krafton’s independent studios, Unknown Worlds and Striking Distance Studio (SDS), plan to meet fans from around the world at ‘Gamescom 2022,’ one of the world’s top 3 game shows held in Cologne, Germany.
First, we will introduce new works from Unknown Worlds and SDS at the ‘Opening Night Live’ showcase on the eve of Gamescom 2022, which will be held on the 23rd.
Unknown Worlds is the first to introduce ‘Project M’, a new intellectual property (IP) turn-based strategy game set in the Sci-Fi world, by co-founder and game director Charlie Cleveland. In addition to the opening night live, a booth will be set up in the entertainment hall to welcome visitors. Visiting visitors can play Unknown Worlds’ new game for themselves.
SDS CEO Glen Schofield also plans to appear on the opening night live stage and introduce a new video of the survival horror game ‘The Callisto Protocol’, which is scheduled for global release on December 2nd. At the booth, various events are offered, including special photo shoots where you can vividly experience the survival horror of Callisto Protocol.
Meanwhile, Unknown Worlds’ new work ‘Project M’ is being developed by the Subnautica series production team, which has proven development capabilities, with the goal of early access within the year. Callisto Protocol is a survival horror game produced by Glenn Schofield, creator of the blockbuster survival horror franchise ‘Dead Space’. It was developed using horror engineering techniques and is expected to open a new chapter in the survival horror genre.
