Naver D2SF (D2 Startup Factory) announced that it has made a new investment in HR tech startup ‘IT&Basic’. IT&Basic is a rare startup focusing on people analytics in the HR tech field centered on recruitment and collaboration tools, and attracted its first institutional investment from Naver D2SF since its establishment.

IT&Basic developed ‘SimOffice’, an HR solution that provides teamwork consulting by analyzing the work tendencies of organization members based on data. It is characterized by categorizing individual work tendencies into 9 types and further analyzing organizational characteristics and relationship patterns between members. After analysis, it is a solution that can substantially contribute to teamwork and organizational management by providing consulting on the organization’s growth strategy, collaboration and communication methods, etc.

Currently, IT&Basic is proving its high marketability by securing a number of companies and public institutions, including NCSoft, Hyundai Department Store Group, and Janssen Korea, as partners. In particular, it has recently been introduced into Naver’s teamwork improvement program, ‘Team Play@Connect One’, and is currently conducting a work tendency analysis program for executives and employees. Many executives and employees who have actually experienced the program have received favorable reviews, saying, “It helped me with team building because I was able to understand the work tendencies of my team mates.”

IT&Basic is a team that has steadily built corporate B2B capabilities and networks in the startup scene. CEO Min Kyung-wook, who worked at Krafton and Neowiz, is leading the business based on his extensive business planning experience, and his co-founders also have a deep understanding of corporate B2B and various know-how.

Yang Sang-hwan, leader of Naver D2SF, said, “Since COVID-19, companies’ needs for organization and human resource management have increased, and the global HR tech market is also growing rapidly. IT&Basic has succeeded in commercializing the product by quickly capturing market trends and corporate demand. “Team,” he introduced. He then expressed his fighting spirit, saying, “We are building meaningful references based on our outstanding execution ability, so we expect to grow even further.”

Min Kyung-wook, CEO of IT&Basic, said, “It is even more meaningful to attract investment and provide solutions to Naver.” He added, “In the future, we will advance data analysis, engage in more aggressive business, and build a data-based HR SaaS.” .

Meanwhile, Naver D2SF has invested in 97 places since its launch in 2015. We are currently recruiting new investment teams through our website and are promoting various synergies between Naver and technology startups.
