Spring Cloud Co., Ltd. announced that it signed an MOU with service robot startup XYZ for autonomous driving mobility and robot solution integration services.
Through this MOU, the two companies will jointly pursue autonomous driving mobility service business and new integrated service business related to robots. Multiverse Planet Yeosu, operated by Spring Cloud, plans to provide a variety of F&B automation services through the robot cafe ‘Lounge We decided to cooperate with each other to develop various types of services desired by users, such as demonstrating the establishment of a cafe platform, and to advance technology.
SpringCloud is a company specializing in self-driving mobility solutions and provides self-driving mobility services and data analysis services based on artificial intelligence. After obtaining the temporary operation permit for self-driving vehicles for the first time as a private company in Korea, it is currently operating in Seoul, Daegu, Sejong, etc. We have been pursuing the expansion of our self-driving shuttle service business, including self-driving data centers, smart garages, and on-demand services in Gunsan and Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
Currently, we are operating ‘Multibus Planet (MVP) Yeosu’, a self-driving theme park for citizens, and following the operation of self-driving shuttles on a 3.4km section of coastal road within Yeosu Expo, we will provide educational experience of various future mobility services and contents in November. A playground zone is about to open.
XYZ is a service robot startup that applies artificial intelligence-based robotics technology to daily life. We are developing robot technology that can be applied to various areas, from the food retail market to everyday spaces. Currently, automated service robots such as the barista robot ‘Baris’ and the ice cream robot ‘Aris’ are being developed and commercialized.
