3D custom glasses brand Brism (CEO Seong Woo-seok, Park Hyeong-jin) provides 3D custom glasses and the Brism app at the Brism Pangyo branch through the YouTube channel of Pangyo Techno Valley, a global convergence R&D hub cluster centered on global IT, BT, CT, and NT. introduced.
3D custom glasses brand ‘Brism’ introduced 3D custom glasses and the Brism app through the Pangyo Techno Valley YouTube channel.
Brism is Korea’s first 3D custom glasses company, founded in May 2017 by experts in eyewear distribution, production, 3D printing, and IT software. Starting with the Yeoksam store in 2018, we have been providing custom glasses to customers by opening stores in Yeouido, Seoul City Hall, Samseong-dong, and Pangyo in succession.
Brism’s glasses frames are made by hardening powdered material (PA12) with a laser using an expensive industrial 3D printer. This method is strong because it has elasticity, and unlike existing acetate glasses, it is characterized by being light and not easily broken or bent by impact. In addition, deep color and unique texture can be expressed through self-developed surface treatment and coloring technology.
Through the Brism app, users can receive recommendations for glasses with the style, size, and color that best suits them through 3D scanning, 3D printing, big data technology, and virtual fitting. We provide a customization service to comfortably fit glasses according to the imbalance and characteristics of the user’s face, including the height of the user’s nose and ears.
It has the advantage of being able to reflect completely personalized size and ratio adjustments, allowing a total of two 3D modeling drafts to be received and minimizing customer anxiety and errors.
Brism was selected as the winner of the Innovation Award in the Health & Wellness category at CES 2022, the world’s largest electronics/IT exhibition. It has been recognized for its innovation as the world’s only D2C service that takes responsibility for everything from production to sales of 3D custom glasses, and is considered the first individual glasses manufacturing and distribution brand to receive an innovation award.
Meanwhile, Brism is planning to enter the U.S. market to provide optimal customer experience linking online and offline, with the goal of opening its first offline store in the Silicon Valley region in the first half of 2023.
