Soinet Co., Ltd., an artificial intelligence service execution optimization solution company, won the ‘Smart AI Innovation Award’ at the ‘2022 4th Industrial Revolution Outstanding Company’.
The 4th Industrial Revolution Excellent Company is an awards ceremony jointly hosted by the National Assembly 4th Industrial Revolution Forum and the Korea Journalists Association and sponsored by eight government ministries, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science and ICT. It has been held every year since 2015 to increase the competitiveness of the ICT convergence industry and spread best practices by rewarding companies leading the 4th Industrial Revolution.
SoyNet received the award at this 7th awards ceremony in recognition of the excellence of ‘SoyNet’, a software solution and core technology that supports AI model lightweighting.
SoyNet solutions help artificial intelligence companies improve the execution speed of their services or applications. In addition, it can significantly improve execution speed and reduce GPU memory usage compared to AI frameworks such as ‘TensorFlow’ or ‘PyTorch’.
Recently, we were selected for TIPS, a technology startup support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and are accelerating the final development of ‘SoyNet Nature’, an operation-oriented MLOps solution. ‘SoyNet Nature’ is a comprehensive support solution for AI model management, distribution, and monitoring that includes SoyNet’s existing execution optimization solution. It is scheduled to be released in November and is expected to increase the efficiency of AI service operations for corporate customers.
Since its establishment in 2018, Soinet has secured about 30 domestic and foreign companies, including POSCO and Hyundai Steel, as customers, and is collaborating with Medical Standard after signing a distributor agreement last year. Recently, we worked with local sales partners overseas and also conducted a PoC with a public company in Singapore.
Kim Yong-ho, CEO of Soinet, said, “As of 2022, the artificial intelligence market is in a transitional period from learning to implementation, and I believe that applications in the future will come out like a flood of services. “Soinet wants to be a partner with artificial intelligence service companies as they pioneer new paths.”
Meanwhile, Soinet Co., Ltd. is a company invested by the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center and has been selected for the 2022 Startup Leap Package Support Project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development, providing specialized customized support such as commercialization support and mentoring from the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, the host organization. I’m receiving it.
