Wemade Play operates a joint hall with Wemade Connect and BTB and participates in the game exhibition ‘G-Star 2022’ held at BEXCO in Busan.
Both companies are preparing an event to introduce each company’s core capabilities using blockchain technology and Wemix Play as common denominators. Wemade Play plans to discover partners and expand cooperation by introducing an advertising monetization business and a new business, the NFT-based membership ‘Anipang Club’.
Wemade Connect also focuses on its publishing business, which has released four games into the global market this year alone, and is preparing to meet with developers preparing to enter the P&E market and global markets. In addition, Playlings, which reaches 800,000 users a day overseas through social casino genres such as the Facebook-based ‘Slot Mate’, also plans to expand collaboration with global partners with dedicated personnel participating.
Meanwhile, this event also attracts attention in that it is a joint pavilion run by Wemade Play, which is participating in G-Star for the first time in 10 years, and Wemade Connect, which is participating in an international exhibition for the first time since its founding in 2007. Company officials explained that it is also significant in that it is a stage to promote corporate capabilities by introducing technologies, services and new businesses developed by each company in the rapidly changing game market.
Lee Ho-dae, CEO of Wemade Play, said, “We introduced the main businesses of each company that has grown into a mid-sized game company in Korea and prepared a joint pavilion to discover partners.” He added, “We expect this to be an opportunity to present a collaborative model for shared growth to domestic and foreign partners. “I do it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Wemade Play, Wemade Connect, and Playlings’ G-Star BTB event venue will operate for three days from November 17 to 19, 2022.
