Unknown Worlds, an independent studio of Krafton Co., Ltd., has released the first update for ‘Moonbreaker’.
This 1.1 update actively reflects user opinions and requests for about a month since the launch of Moonbreaker Early Access on the 30th of last month. During the early access period, a time to experiment and improve the game, Moonbreaker was developed to become a more interesting and in-depth game.
First, all profit elements in Moonbreaker have been removed through this update. ‘Pulser’, the in-game paid currency, has been deleted, and all Pulsers previously owned by users will be automatically refunded. Additionally, the in-game store is disabled, so items cannot be purchased or exchanged within the game during the early access period. In addition, the pulsar included in the Founder’s Pack DLC has been replaced with a new exclusive skin for Commander ‘Jax Jakar’.
Additionally, all commanders and unit members have been unlocked, allowing all units to be freely used in the game without performing any additional tasks. In addition, all new units released during the early access period are provided at no cost.
Void Coins and Merit Coins that could be obtained through gameplay have been replaced with Spark Coins, and Spark Coins are used to increase the rarity of units. Depending on the rarity, the unit’s appearance elements, such as effects upon summoning and death, become more flashy.
The core gameplay mechanics are also changed. Instead of the existing system where units from a pre-organized unit randomly appear in a queue and had to be summoned, users can now use all of their unit units as soon as the game starts. Instead, the number of units that can be organized was slightly reduced from 10 to 8.
Ship support skills have been partially modified to adjust balance, and the amount of experience points in the season track has been adjusted so that users can obtain season track rewards more quickly and enjoy the fun of the game.
Lastly, the second episode ‘Jax’s Story’ of the audio drama series ‘Moonbreaker: Stories from a Distant World’, which allows you to become more immersed in Moonbreaker’s worldview and characters, has been released in-game.
Meanwhile, detailed information about the Moonbreaker update can be found on the official website.
