[Pangyo Tech] Coxspace presents human interface equipment ‘Snoul & Ring’ at Pangyo Monthly Online Meet Up in October 2022

In order for Gyeonggi Province to inform the world of the value and corporate status of Pangyo Techno Valley, an ‘Online Meet Up’ was held with Clement Jean, reporter of the European media ‘STARTUPWORLD’, through video conference on October 25th. ‘ was carried out.

Coxspace (CEO Kim Ho-yeon), who participated in this video conference, was founded in 2015 by CEO Kim Ho-yeon, who served as an Intel program manager. CEO Kim Ho-yeon had experience winning in the idea contest category in the human interface device contest while working at Intel, and predicted that human interface would be used by many people in the metaverse (virtual reality) that will unfold in the future.

Accordingly, with CEO Kim’s ideas and proprietary 9Dof tech technology, Coxspace is researching and producing the latest hardware and software-based wearable equipment. We developed an extended reality AI platform with the corporate vision of enabling users to easily connect to virtual spaces and enjoy everyday life happily.

‘SNOWL’ is a gesture air 3D mouse developed by Coxspace, and has sold about 7,000 units worldwide. After a crowdfunding campaign, Snowle was improved and commercialized as ‘VANZY’, and by wearing it like a ring, it tracked the user’s hand movements, making it possible to control the device beyond the limitations of modern mice.

Ring applies core technologies such as 3D positioning through Coxspace’s unique 9Dof and gesture learning algorithm, and the accuracy error is less than 2, 2, and 6 degrees in X, Y, and Z on the graph. In addition, it can be operated in three modes: ▲Air Mouse ▲Gesture Mouse ▲AR/XR Mouse.

Additionally, AR/XR can be controlled in 3D space, so it can be applied to ‘Cox Metaspace’. Cox Metaspace is a B2B solution and an XR long-distance platform. It can be easily applied to AR glasses, allowing users to obtain base information and task information through AI analysis. It also helps you make real-time video calls with system administrators or experts. Field workers can minimize damage and risks when working.

Cox Metaspace has built a multi-party Metaverse remote collaboration platform. It boasts 98% performance with ‘marker’ or ‘non-marker’ recognition technology, and reduced object recognition work time from 4 hours to less than 10 minutes.

A Coxspace official said, “We plan to enter Finland through the Helsinki XR Center in the future. “Finland is the country with the most cases of XR market application compared to other countries, and is a country where the industry is actively growing,” he said. “We are preparing to become a global metaverse company through the European market through partnerships with local Finnish companies. “There is,” he said, expressing his ambition.
