Naver will first use Naver certificates to help Yonsei University students take online lectures, check attendance, and take exams. After issuing Naver student IDs, various offline services such as access to libraries and school facilities using QR codes and loaning books will also be discussed.
In addition, Naver Student ID is expected to be used as an identity verification method for Naver Expert, Band, etc. For example, students who have been issued a Naver student ID can use Naver Expert’s online tutoring service for middle and high school students, or freely network with alumni from departments, clubs, and academic societies through Naver Band. Graduates can also receive a Naver alumni card to verify their department/admission and graduation year, as well as use alumni discount coupons that can be used on Naver Shopping.
Naver is also preparing to provide services that can help Yonsei University students/graduates find employment by linking the certificates and academic information they have acquired.
