Krafton (CEO Kim Chang-han) announced the opening of Season 2 of the Mirae Asset Securities Battleground Mobile Pro Series (PUBG MOBILE PRO SERIES (PMPS)), a battleground mobile esports competition, on the 1st.
PMPS Season 2 will run every weekend until October 31st, starting with the opening match at 1pm on October 2nd. Participating teams will compete in a two-week weekly stage and a three-week weekly final for a total prize money of 73 million won.
A total of 24 teams will participate in the PMPS Season 2 Weekly Stage, including the top 13 teams from the ‘Mirae Asset Securities PUBG MOBILE OPEN CHALLENGE (hereinafter referred to as PMOC) 2nd half of 2021’ finals, the 10 teams participating in the Weekly Finals of PMPS Season 1, and the first place team from the Game.tv selection competition. . Participating teams are divided into three groups, and six matches are played each day. The top 16 teams advance to the Weekly Finals and compete for three weeks to determine the final winner.
The winning team of PMPS Season 2 will participate as the Korean national team in the 2021 Battleground Mobile Global Championship (PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP, PMGC), the ultimate global competition of Battleground Mobile.
There are also various events available to further enjoy PMPS Season 2. First of all, following PMOC 2021, the ‘Winner Coin Event’, where you can acquire various in-game items, will be held again. Winner coins can be obtained through participation in various events held during the competition period, and can be exchanged for items such as mint-colored exercise jumper set (permanent), chicken medal, mischievous bear mask set, baby dragon backpack, and RP points. . In addition, ▲Live Code Event, where players enter the live code displayed during the live broadcast of the competition, and ▲Win Prediction Event, where players can participate in game prediction on the official Battleground Mobile Esports website, will be held.
