    [Pangyo Tech] Pangyo Startup Zone, successfully completed the 7th Startup 815 ‘DNA Field’ IR

    The Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’), the startup zone operating organization, announced that it successfully concluded the ‘7th Startup 815’ held at the startup zone on the 28th.

    Startup 815 is an investment briefing session for each field of innovative technology held monthly by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, the University of Suwon, and other related organizations. This event was held at the Seongnam City Corporate Support Hub Startup Zone with the participation of 9 excellent startups in the DATA, NETWORK, and AI fields and 9 investors including AC, VC, and financial institutions.

    Participating companies include ▲’DidiCares’ (customized pet healthcare solution based on real-time activity data) ▲’Zero One AI’ (AI platform (SaaS), big data platform (PaaS)) ▲’Smart Inside AI’ (specialized in construction sites) Video AI) ▲’Yellowknife’ (vehicle digital dashboard UI customization technology) ▲’Otter Company’ (keyword-based customized recommendation platform, Cherry Pick) etc. participated and introduced their core technologies and vision.

    Participating judges included Daedong Investment, S Ventures, Infobank, Etri Holdings, Capstone Partners, Kingo Spring, Magna Investment, Korea Bio Investment Partners, Ensle Partners, and Credit Guarantee Fund.

    After the company announcement, feedback and networking from investment experts took place. ‘Zero1AI’ was selected as the most outstanding company, and a 1:1 follow-up meeting with the desired investment company was provided.

    Starting with the first event last April, the Startup 815 event held a total of 60 startups and held investment briefing sessions with 70 investment companies over the course of 7 events. Next month’s final Startup 815 will be held for start-ups in integrated fields, and recruitment will be held from November 1 to November 12 on the Eventus website.

    An official at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “As a public accelerator and a leading startup hub in the region, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center will continue to do its best to establish a practical channel between startups and investment companies.”

    Meanwhile, the Startup Zone is Korea’s largest startup support cluster, established in 2017 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively foster promising startups in new industries, and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
