Organoid Science (CEO Jongman Yoo) announced on the 10th that it won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the ‘2021 Bio Entrepreneur Day’ awards ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul on the 8th.
This awards ceremony is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Biotechnology Association and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning and is an event prepared to recognize the contributions of excellent companies and researchers who have contributed to the development of the bio industry. Organoid Science received the 2021 Bio Enterprise Job Creation Award in recognition of its contribution to the development of the national bio industry by increasing employment in the bio sector.
The secret of Organoid Science, which achieved a whopping 900% employment increase in just three years since its founding, is not only by actively expanding new employment, but also by recruiting people with professional experience in other industries and nurturing them as bio experts or encouraging them to enter the company with a master’s or doctoral degree. This is because they have not spared support, such as strengthening the team with more specialized members.
In addition, this year, the company boldly introduced Google Workspace, which is optimized for work efficiency, collaboration and sharing, as groupware, showing itself as an innovative company that is ahead not only in technology but also in corporate culture.
