Aimbee Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO Byeong-su Ko) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 28th to Friday, July 3th. )’.

Aimbi Lab is a company that solves problems in the field by applying technology to correct feed management, timely production, and delivery. We have developed application software with strengths in technology to correct data errors measured through AI reinforcement learning, and we have specialized livestock data from a company-affiliated research center that can manufacture and produce our own.

Currently, to check the remaining amount of feed on a farm, the farm manager or a feed company delivery agent visually checks or hits the silo with a hammer. This is because it is inconvenient to have to visit the farm several times to check the remaining amount, and it is inconvenient to check from the top of the silo each time. In addition, in hot or humid weather, the inside of the silo is an optimal environment for microorganisms to grow, and if this is not recognized, feed spoilage may progress.

Aimbi Lab announced the purpose of participating in this exhibition, saying, “In addition to solving these problems, we will present optimal feed management, reduce unnecessary shipping, and publicize our system to raise livestock in a clean environment.”

Additionally, “The purpose of the solution we developed is to quickly build a wide infrastructure. “The device ‘FM-04’ has a price competitiveness that is more than ¼ compared to other products, and its strengths are that it is easy to install and does not require installation of electrical or communication devices,” he said. “The data obtained from the device is distributed through an app/web called ‘My Feed’. Once transmitted, you can check the remaining amount of feed at the farm, temperature and humidity, risk of spoilage, whether the lid is open or closed, and feed consumption patterns. “We also optimize and provide information on feed delivery routes and quantities for each farm and silo.”

Currently, Aimbi Lab’s solution has been adopted by companies such as Sunjin and Korea Livestock Data and manages about 120 silos. Through this, we provide clean feed management and delivery optimization by informing the risk of spoilage during rainy or humid weather and ordering in smaller quantities than existing orders.

Regarding future plans, an AMB Lab official said, “We plan to add an IR camera to the device to further segment and categorize the form of feed accumulated in the silo. “Through this, we will be able to accurately analyze whether it is ready-made feed or TMR feed that is mixed differently at each farm,” he said. “We minimize unnecessary shipping with our technology that can monitor the remaining amount of feed.” “Farmers will be able to purchase feed at competitive prices, and feed companies will have an easier time finding potential customers. Based on this, we plan to provide a last-mile delivery system from feed production plants to trading farms.”

Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
