    Jirisan Byeolmaru Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Yun-sook), an agricultural corporation, will hold the ‘7 Agri-Food Tech Startup Fair (Agri & Food Tech Start- up Rising Expo 26)’.

    Jisan Byeolmaru is an agricultural corporation that directly cultivates various root crops such as bellflower, burdock, and sweet potato, which originate from the clean mountaintop of Jirisan Mountain, and develops and manufactures convenience foods. The company explains that it not only secures high-quality raw materials with root crop cultivation know-how inherited from the second generation, but also introduces products at reasonable prices to the market by establishing its own production and distribution system.

    In this exhibition, Mt. Jirisan Byeolmaru introduces its representative product, ‘Cheonwangbongsin’s Yakdoraji’. It is characterized by using rice grain syrup brewed in a traditional way as a raw material, rather than artificial sugars such as sugar or oligosaccharide, to produce a subtle sweetness. At the same time, it has a deep fragrance unique to high-quality bellflower, and in addition, it is introduced as containing an abundance of agricultural products grown directly by the company, such as ginger, radish, and Sanghwang mushroom.

    Kim Yun-sook, CEO of Jirisan Byeolmaru, said, “Starting with balloon flower, which is effective for improving bronchial function, we have pursued high-quality agri-food convenience food, and have succeeded in securing a variety of processed product lineups so far.” It has certified its unrivaled quality by achieving sales of 2020 million won, 2 million won, and 5,000 million won.”

    Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
