Creators Lab (CEO Jeongha Ryu) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 28th to Friday, July 3th. )’.

Creators Lab is a ‘food upcycling’ company that creates new value by adding various contents to discarded or inventory food materials. In particular, in order to create a safe play environment for children who put anything into their mouths, we developed play materials that are safe to eat using food raw materials based on patented technology. Accordingly, we are developing and delivering educational curriculum based on teaching aids and ‘food art’ by combining professional play education content.

This exhibition will mainly feature edible clay ‘Sugar Clay’ using sugar cane and sugar clay technology.

Sugar clay, made using excess sugar due to overproduction, is a ‘toy’ that allows children to play with clay, which is good for the development of children’s fine muscles and five senses. It is also a ‘food’ that is made with edible ingredients and can be eaten safely. This alleviates parents’ concerns about ‘what if children get the clay in their mouths while playing with it?’ and allows children to have fun playing with the sugar clay dough and then eat it deliciously without any additional cooking steps such as using an oven or microwave. .

In addition to the long shelf life of 18 months, it is HACCP certified, and the fact that it can be enjoyed safely by using only ingredients without cholesterol and trans fat to reduce the sugar absorption rate in children’s bodies was also cited as a strength.

He added, “We developed various goods and products while carrying out ESG-related projects with .”

He continued, “We will expand our services beyond children to the elderly, the disabled, and children with developmental delays, and based on the experience gained through operating an eco-friendly food art curriculum at kindergartens, daycare centers, and welfare centers for the disabled and the elderly, we will utilize discarded rice. “We are planning to develop a product that combines educational content with ‘Rice Art,’ an eco-friendly cognitive development tool,” he said. “Rather than simply selling colored rice picture kits, we will develop a variety of drafts and educational content to create convergent educational kits in various fields such as social studies, mathematics, and science.” “We want to improve it,” he said.
