
The Korean Embassy of the Canadian Embassy in Korea, Alberta Government, will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for 28 days from Wednesday, July 3th to Friday, July 2023th. ‘ Participated in.
The Alberta Ministry of Agriculture, Canada is located at the Alberta Representative Office of the Canadian Embassy in Korea and is responsible for pioneering the export of agricultural products to Korea and attracting domestic agricultural and food, bio and technology-based manufacturers and startup-related companies.
At this exhibition, the government of Alberta, Canada introduced major agricultural products produced in Alberta, such as beef, honey, and grains, and recruited Korean companies interested in them.
An official said, “We hope that Canadian and Korean companies will form technological alliances, propose investments, and form partnerships. “We are looking for Korean companies that need agricultural products mainly produced in Canada,” he explained. “We are recruiting startup companies to move into the food process center in Alberta, targeting Korea.”
The Canadian government of Alberta has signed business agreements with various Korean companies related to food technology and is smoothly supplying major agricultural products produced in Alberta, a clean region, including investment in production facilities.

Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
