Life Salad participated in the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 26th to Friday, July 28th.
Life Salad is a food tech startup that provides personalized nutritional management solutions based on food science, data science, and IT technology. A company official said, “We aim to make consumers healthy and happy, increase the healthy lifespan of the people, and contribute to reducing social medical costs by operating futuristic foods, non-face-to-face nutrition management services, and a wellness lifestyle platform.”
This exhibition showcased a variety of nutritional and care food products. Among these, ‘Healthcare L2’ is a low-sugar, low-sodium chronic disease nutritional management product and contains MCT oil. Regarding this, an official said, “It is 100% whey protein isolate, so it boasts high protein and low carbohydrates. “It was scientifically designed by a clinical nutrition expert as a balanced nutritional diet that lowers what to lower and increases what to increase,” he said.
In addition, “The product contains domestically produced rice using specialized processing techniques, balanced 5 major nutrients, and 12 types of vitamins and minerals. “In particular, HealthCare L2 is effective when you want nutritious food low in sugar and sodium, when you need strength supplementation due to muscle loss, when you need to manage your diet due to disease treatment, or when you have low energy and no appetite,” he said.
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
