Masit Jiu participated in the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri).
Masit Jiu is a food tech company that introduces healthy and correct products using honestly grown agricultural products.
‘Go Chips’, which was mainly introduced at this exhibition, is a domestic sweet potato chip that is oven-roasted without frying with only sweet potatoes and almonds. It has been certified vegan and boasts a protein content of 13% of the recommended daily amount. In addition, it provides a simple solution to consumers struggling between a healthy lifestyle and a busy modern society, as it does not contain sugar, flour, coloring, or preservatives.
An official from Masit Jiwoo said, “We are a start-up company located in Sejong City and are making healthy food with domestic agricultural products. Regular sweet potatoes have high sugar content, but our product is not sticky and has low sugar content by mixing chestnut sweet potatoes. Hot-air roasted Go Chips is a representative product, such as being sold out online and going into reproduction.”
Another product, Sejel Bok Jelly, is a peach jelly containing 35% of domestic peach juice, and boasts the texture of konjac jelly. The ‘Gogumem’ Nuts introduced together is a non-sticky sweet potato mash made of sweet potatoes and three kinds of nuts.

Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
