Chicken House participated in the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri).
Chicken House introduced Deep-Fring Mealkit ‘Cheekit’ at this exhibition. Chickit is a compound word of chicken and meal kit, and is a meal kit product that allows you to easily fry and eat chicken. In particular, these days when outdoor activities such as camping are in the limelight, it is a meal kit that allows you to cook and enjoy chicken outdoors.
An official said, “It consists of boneless chicken and boneless chicken, and is about to be released soon. We have expanded our options with spicy and regular flavors, and there is a special advantage that you can eat chicken that looks like it is fried at a chicken restaurant at home.”
“Chikit goes beyond simply ‘eating’ chicken and draws ‘enjoying’. To this end, we are working hard to continuously develop a variety of flavors by studying salting, dough, seasoning and toppings.” I constantly think about the composition of Cheekit so that I can only contain joy,” he added.
Chikit has completed the 3rd round of Wadiz funding, and is aiming to advance overseas in the future. Regarding this, an official said, “Foreign tourists who have tasted Korean-style chicken are said to be fascinated by the crispy texture, moist gravy, and unique seasoning. We want to lead the popularization of Korean-style chicken around the world and pioneer a trend in the Korean Wave.”
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
