Biolight participated in the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri).
Biolight is a company that researches and develops ultra-weak light energy technology and applies it to the livestock market with the goal of improving animal welfare and productivity. In the future, we plan to expand our business area into companion animals and human healthcare.
At this exhibition, the main focus was on the veterinary medical device Photonia. This is a device that helps livestock health by improving the function of mitochondria in the cells of living organisms using light. It replenishes energy in the body of sows to help improve metabolism, immunity, and reproduction, and is used to increase the breeding rate of piglets through simple installation.
A Biolight official explained, “Photonia is mainly used in pig farms. It is safe even for long-term use in the visible light band and has the effect of improving reproductive ability by activating mitochondria.”
Photonia, a medical device for animals, was designated as an innovative product last year and is being supplied to farms this year as it was recognized for supply to the Public Procurement Service.
