Percent Food participated in the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri).
Percent Food, headquartered in Gimpo, is a HACCP-certified company. Based on marshmallow patent technology, it develops various performance items to lead the new domestic and international dessert market, researching desserts in coffee shops, dessert cafes, tourist destinations, amusement parks, highways, etc. We are building a supply chain with a one-stop system from development to production and distribution. Currently, PCT application is in progress and overseas expansion is ahead.
Cube Marshmallow, the flagship product of this exhibition, consists of various desserts such as ice cream, cheesecake, glutinous rice cake, brownie, and dalgona. As a finished product, a performance is created using a torch, which is well received by children and people in their 20s and 30s, leading to increased sales. It is known as fire-roasted ice cream and marshmallow ice cream and is distributed in various markets.
An official from Percent Food said, “Frozen’s More, a 100% homemade dessert, is crispy when baked and cool with ice cream inside. We manufacture dinosaur robots and sell them ourselves,” he explained.
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
