‘2023 InterCHARM Korea’, a beauty and cosmetics exhibition, opened at COEX Hall C and D in Samseong-dong, Seoul on Wednesday, August 8.
The 9 Intercharm Korea, which runs until Friday, September 1, will be held as Korea’s largest beauty and cosmetics exhibition, and interest from related industries is focused, with recruitment of participating companies closing early.
In particular, this exhibition is jointly hosted by Seoul Messe International and Lead K Fairs and is titled ‘A Global Exhibition Directly Visited by Buyers’. More than 3 buyers visit each year to promote the status of K-Beauty and provide an essential overseas exhibition for beauty and cosmetics companies. A market opening opportunity opens up.
In 2023, Intercharm Korea significantly expanded the size of participating companies compared to last year. Along with the creation of national pavilions in China and India, over 80 beauty and cosmetics companies from Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Turkey, will participate.
A total of 424 companies and 70 booths will exhibit global beauty products, including 494 domestic companies individually participating, as well as 650 companies from Busan Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Chuncheon City, and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. This is the largest beauty and cosmetics event held in Korea and is being held as a venue for small and medium-sized enterprises to pioneer global sales channels.
The organizers also prepared various side events to suit the expanded scale.
First, we are preparing a large-scale offline consultation session by investing the largest budget ever and directly inviting big buyers from major countries. By inviting buyers from over 200 companies in the Americas, Europe, Japan, and emerging countries in Southeast Asia, we will lay the foundation for exports for small and medium-sized businesses.
Next, the ‘All About That Beauty Seminar’ will be held to provide insight into the latest trends and technologies related to beauty and cosmetics, as well as sustainability, and provide a networking opportunity to discuss the future of the industry. Lastly, in partnership with Mintel, a global trend research company, we will also hold an award to select products and companies that capture both innovation and trends.

Mintel’s reports are derived from actual new product data and are highly trusted in the related industry.
