    Lindsay & Cos Co., Ltd. (CEO Hee-suk Yoo, hereinafter Lindsay) participated in ‘8 InterCHARM Korea’ held at COEX, Seoul for a total of three days from August 30 (Wed) to September 9 (Fri). .

    Lindsay is an esthetic beauty brand consisting of Lindsay & Cos and Lims World. Based on good raw materials obtained from nature and excellent technology, we are developing products that help improve the fundamental problems of skin stimulated by harmful environments.

    It introduced a modeling pack for home care to the domestic beauty market so that expensive modeling packs, which used to cost from 1 won to up to 3 won per use at high-end esthetic salons, can be conveniently used at home. While a normal sheet pack moistens a sheet with essence and places it on the skin to supply nutrients to the skin, a modeling pack applies a mixture of diatomaceous earth powder and water to the skin and creates a vacuum to prevent air from entering between the skin. It is characterized by forcibly pushing the ingredients from the skin to supply nutrients.

    A Lindsay official said, “We established a factory in Korea in 2012 and started manufacturing directly. We are distributing modeling packs that had to be imported from abroad in Korea and manufacturing products with EWG green grade raw materials to meet the eye level of meticulous domestic consumers.”

    Lindsay listens to consumers’ opinions and develops products according to user convenience. The modeling pack is known as a cumbersome pack for users because it is necessary to separately prepare and use a spatula, ball, and measuring spoon. To compensate for this, Lindsay sells a cup with a measured amount of diatomaceous earth per serving. In addition, a spatula and spoon were developed to easily measure the amount of water.

    An official from Lindsay said, “The disposable modeling pack has been manufactured in the form of a plastic pouch to make it easier to use than a cup. It’s easy to carry, so it’s perfect for travel,” he said. “We also developed an essence-type modeling pack. It is an improved product with highly concentrated nutrients that cannot be contained in powder, moisturizing, and soothing.”

    Currently, Lindsay’s modeling pack is a popular selling product at domestic H&B shops (Healty and Beauty Shops). Regarding this, Lindsay said, “Modeling packs are the main products in the domestic market, but sunscreens and toners are the main products in Vietnam, cleansing products in Malaysia, and hair products in the US. It is through the global market.”

    Regarding future plans, an official from Lindsay said, “Our products are produced in an eco-friendly way. Modeling packs also use carefully selected diatomite ‘earth’, so they return to the environment and become ‘soil’. So, when the pack is used, we guide consumers to throw it in the general trash,” he said. “We are also trying to use eco-friendly products for packaging containers. Due to the nature of diatomaceous earth, which hardens when it absorbs moisture, we have used vinyl and plastic containers so far, but we are working to transform it into an alternative.”

    In addition, “So far, modeling packs that use a mixture of liquid and liquid have been introduced to the market, and a sherbet-type pack was also introduced at this exhibition. We also developed a modeling pack that does not contain liquid or powder,” he said. “As we have been running for consumers for over 10 years, we will continue to research and develop for consumers’ healthy beauty life for the next 10 years.”
