Trojan Plus (CEO Kim Jeong-soo) will participate in ‘K-PRINT 8’ held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 23 in Ilsan from August 26 (Wed) to 2 (Sat) and introduce a digital full-color packaging printer.
Established in 2018 to expand the base of digital printers in Korea, Trojan Plus is the Korean sole distributor of Astronova, USA, and sells Quick Label and Trojan Label printers in Korea. In addition, we are supplying the Print & Apply system through the combination of the parent company Sanho Machinery’s labeling machine and digital printer.
In this exhibition, the full-color digital packaging printer ‘T3 OPX’ will be exhibited. This product is a digital printer that can print in color on cardboard boxes, paper shopping bags, and various paper bags. It is a printing machine that can immediately respond to the demand to print your own unique design on packaging materials at a time when small-lot production of various types has become commonplace. It can be printed from a single sheet to mass production, and can be applied to various packaging with a maximum printing width of 297mm. 1200DPI high-resolution printing is possible, as well as water-repellent using water-based pigment ink, and the height of the printhead can be adjusted automatically.
Trojan Plus cited the ability to solve problems immediately through remote diagnosis as a major advantage and differentiated point. Through this, domestic as well as overseas branches can access and solve problems at any time, so customers can use the product with more peace of mind. In addition, the person in charge explains that the product can be operated immediately after an hour of training with simple usage. In addition, as a single pass press, it can print more than 2,000 sheets per hour, helping to improve productivity.
An official from Trojan Plus said, “The T3 OPX is a product that can be used for 24-hour printing as well as small-lot production of various products. Boasting a wide printing width of 300mm, OPX enables printing of more than 2,000 corrugated cardboard boxes per hour, as well as printing on small cup holders and envelopes from one page. Depending on the product, higher productivity is realized through combination with various automation machines provided by the company.”
“Our future goal is to go beyond packaging printers and develop roll to roll flexible packaging printers and non-absorbent cotton digital printers. Currently, many customers have a need to print a small amount on flexible packaging materials that are non-absorbent cotton. We want to respond to this demand and develop a printer that can be exported all over the world,” he said. “We want to expand into the global market with a small digital printer that can be supplied to more customers.”
