C.I.J Korea Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Jin-hong) announced that it will participate in ‘K-PRINT 8’ to be held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 23 in Ilsan from August 26 (Wed) to 2 (Sat).
C.I.J Korea, a company specializing in industrial inkjet printers, focuses on heavy industries such as electricity, electronics, wires, steel, automobiles, aircraft, shipbuilding, and PVC industries, as well as light industries such as livestock, cosmetics, food, and pharmaceuticals. Using the non-contact ink jetting method for products produced in all industries and industries, high-speed printing solutions such as ▲manufacture date ▲expiration date ▲barcode (possible linkage with ERP, MES, etc.) ▲2D code (possible linkage with ERP, MES, etc.) are providing
This exhibition introduces high-resolution inkjet printers. The REA JET UP (Universal Print) piezo printer is a direct printing system that can print without contact on a variety of surfaces, including paper, cardboard, wood, and painted and varnished surfaces. Alphanumeric text, 1D/2D codes, graphics, company logos or product images can be imaged in precise and high contrast with a print height of up to 108.37mm and a resolution of up to 1500dpi. In addition, the company explained that it is possible to print images much larger than the printing height of 108.37mm through the structural configuration of the print head.
REA JET UP inkjet printers are designed for high-resolution direct printing at high drying speeds on smooth surfaces, and are available in a range of oil inks to UV-curable inks for difficult surfaces. This saves on label purchase, storage, printing and application costs, even on difficult surfaces.
An official from C.I.J Korea said, “Thanks to the new-generation print head that prevents nozzle failure and circulating ink, the REA JET UP piezo printer stably provides perfect print images even in harsh environmental conditions. In addition, high-contrast print results ensure very high read rates when scanning codes. At the same time, the coding and marking system achieves speeds up to three times faster than previous technologies. Another advantage is the reliable and compact device design, which allows easy integration into all product families.
In the case of sticker labels, which have been widely used in the past, maintaining label inventory for each product in the era of small-lot production of multiple products can act as a burden. In addition, the consumption of resources such as paper, plastics and adhesives used in label manufacturing and the generation of waste can have a negative impact on the environment. On the one hand, labels can constrain the visual design of a product. If a custom design is required for a particular product, it may be limited by the limited space and shape of the label, and may leave residue after removal. In addition, some labels may be vulnerable to security threats such as counterfeiting.
Corresponding label-free direct printing replaces sticker labels by receiving constantly changing data from the customer’s server in small quantity production and printing directly on the product surface, eliminating the need to stock up on separate sticker labels. In addition, the label-free direct printing solution can print variable data for each product, such as barcodes and QR codes, to ensure product integrity and prevent counterfeiting.
C.I.J Korea said, “Label-free direct printing solutions are being adopted in more and more products and industries as consumers’ interest and demand increase. We are providing a total solution that can respond according to each industry.”
