CA Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO Seung-wook Lee) announced that it will participate in the ‘8 International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan for three days from Wednesday, August 1 to Friday, September 3.
CALAB is a company that is leaping from a cleantech material company to a sustainability-based filter material company based on its self-developed patented material ‘Nano Convergence Composite Filter’. Based on nano-convergence composite filters that enhance the lifespan/performance reliability of air filters made with patented materials, we supply materials to all industrial goods and filter market sectors, and based on filter technology, we provide industrial consumer goods (filter replaceable patented masks, long-life vehicle masks). We produce and supply filters, 3rd generation direct water purifiers, and innovative product ventilation filters).
We are taking a leap forward to create sustainable products at home and abroad, and through R&D and recycling/upcycling, we are building replacement technologies for filter materials using waste resources (such as using waste wood materials from the Korea Forest Service) and are also carrying out new material and new technology projects, making it a clean, eco-friendly technology. It is a tech company.
The goal of this exhibition is to promote these eco-friendly technologies and products and apply sustainable industrial materials through carbon reduction products that respond to atmospheric environment and climate change.
In particular, the main products to be introduced are the patented material ‘Nano Convergence Composite Filter’ made with in-house technology, the long-life vehicle filter ‘Aero Formula’, and the air supply-ventilation ventilation filter ‘Aero Shield’ that can be applied to air conditioning and ventilation facilities. The company explained that it is a material/consumer product made with patented technology and is suitable for eco-friendly factors such as ESG management such as long lifespan and maintaining efficiency, and is a hybrid product that can be used in various business diversification in the filter market.
A representative from CA Lab said, “A large amount of waste is generated due to the short filter life, and as it is made of composite plastic material and cannot be decomposed or recycled, a large amount of environmental pollutants are emitted, highlighting the importance of alternatives. Accordingly, our company developed a nano-convergence composite filter material by producing long-life filter industrial materials and using eco-friendly materials, believing that carbon reduction and various emission reduction activities could be achieved if used as a substitute.”
In addition, the advantage was that it has a long usage cycle recognized for its long lifespan and that it catches harmful substances such as various viruses, fine dust, and ultrafine dust.
CA Lab has had its main performance certified by each institution and has also registered major patents (a total of 30 registrations and applications). In addition, we are expanding our business scope to areas such as B2B and B2G. CA Lab filters have been applied to subway stations in Busan and Seoul, and are also being supplied to multi-use facilities such as government offices, hospitals, schools, and the Ministry of National Defense. We are exporting technology and products not only domestically but also multinationally, and are conducting business activities in all directions, including the African market (faucet business, eco-friendly water quality improvement) and the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets (air quality improvement).
An official said, “Our new product will be a next-generation faucet, water quality improvement, filter support using eco-friendly materials, and filter material fabric technology will be applied to the service industry and we will conduct sales activities as materials/intermediate goods/industrial goods.”
Meanwhile, ENTECH 17, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary this year, is Korea’s representative environment, energy, and carbon neutrality exhibition, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the International Newspaper, and supervised by BEXCO, Today Energy, and KOTRA.
