TEC Co., Ltd. (CEO Doo-seop Jeong) announced that it will participate in the ‘8 International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan for three days from Wednesday, August 1 to Friday, September 3.

TEC holds professional construction licenses in 6 business fields, and its main customers include domestic petrochemical companies and port tank terminal operators. It manufactures specific equipment (Heat Exchangers & Pressure Vessels) and ultra-low temperature VOCs reduction and recovery equipment (among air pollution prevention facilities). It is a total air environment solution company that specializes in design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning services of C-VRU), low-temperature thermal incineration unit (VCU), and activated carbon absorption and desorption unit (SRU). From 2020 onwards, we are striving to proactively respond to the realization of a hydrogen society through the construction of hydrogen charging stations and the production and supply of hydrogen ionic compressors newly developed with our own technology.

This exhibition mainly exhibits cryogenic VOCs recovery equipment (Cryogenic Vapor Recovery Unit, C-VRU). TEC cited environmental safety as an advantage of the facility. Since liquid nitrogen and VOC do not come into direct contact, condensed VOC and vaporized nitrogen are recycled, no waste water is generated, and there are no secondary environmental problems such as NOx, acid, and CO₂. Additionally, since there is no ignition source, it is easy to build explosion-proof facilities.

In addition, the fact that it is cheaper than the cost of installing a general recovery facility and that operating costs can be reduced by reusing vaporized nitrogen was also cited as an advantage. Because the facility configuration is simple and operation is simple, separate monitoring personnel are not required and maintenance is easy.

Another feature is that it can be installed in front of the existing adsorption/desorption unit (VRU) and RTO to reduce the load and reuse VOC while maintaining the emission concentration below environmental regulations.

TEC said, “As the government’s air pollutant emission regulations become stricter, recovery efficiency is low, secondary pollutants are generated during incineration, maintenance is difficult and burden of significant operating costs, and safety issues arise due to changes in concentration and flow rate. The problems that had been pointed out as problems with the method were complemented and improved. Accordingly, at this exhibition, we would like to introduce VOC treatment facilities that can help companies solve the problem of air pollutant emissions.”

Meanwhile, ENTECH 17, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary this year, is Korea’s representative environment, energy, and carbon neutrality exhibition, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the International Newspaper, and supervised by BEXCO, Today Energy, and KOTRA. Exhibits include: △Water Quality Environment △Atmospheric Environment △Waste Treatment △Measurement and Analysis Instruments △Eco-friendly Technology/Products △Public Sector △Power/Generation/Nuclear Power △Gas △Renewable Energy △Hydrogen Energy △Energy Efficiency △Fourth Industry △Environment △Energy
