Bellroy Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Joo-hyung) announced that it will participate in ‘K-PRINT 8’, which will be held at the 23nd exhibition hall of KINTEX in Ilsan from Wednesday, August 26rd to Saturday, August 2th.
Established in 2004, Bellroy is an exporter of digital label solutions, and its mission includes the meaning of Value+Alloy. Bellroy, which develops and supplies software, hardware, materials, and ink required for digital printing, won the Million Dollar Export Tower Award in 2009, and was selected as a global small but strong company under the Hi Seoul brand in 2018. Annual sales exceeded KRW 2021 billion in 30, and as of 2023, we are exporting to about 30 countries. We are focusing on developing new products, especially inkjet digital prints, with the goal of achieving 2024 billion in sales by 50.
The current digital printing market is known to be growing at a rate of more than 15% every year as it is a multi-product, small-volume market. In line with this, Bellroy continues to develop equipment suitable for the multi-product, small-quantity market to meet customer needs.
In particular, ‘Duo Blade WS’, which will be presented at this exhibition, is an equipment optimized for small quantity roll label production, so there is no need to manufacture separate knives, and it is a small quantity, multi-product post-processing machine that can cut less than 100 labels without loss. This equipment, which is equipped with an automated system, has the advantage of being able to perform precise cutting of 0.01 mm using a CCD camera. The compact size saves space and maximizes user convenience through simple operation.
‘Duo Blade FX’, which is also being exhibited, is a digital sheet cutting machine optimized for smart factories. Regarding this, a Bellroy official said, “This equipment can be considered the most high-end model among sheet cutting machines that are very common in the Korean market. “A number of advanced functions have been added, such as simultaneous half-knife and full-knife work, press line work, and automatic work conversion through barcode recognition, and we are confident that it is a cutting machine with the fastest speed and processing capacity among digital knife cutting machines,” he emphasized. Multilingual support for user convenience is also considered an advantage.
We also informed about the achievements made so far. An official said, “Starting with K-Print in 2018, it has been sold to about 40 companies, and sales inquiries have continued. In addition, in the overseas market, distributors are active in approximately 30 countries based in Europe, and sales and inquiries are continuously being made in various continents such as North America and South America, as well as European countries such as Germany, Italy, and Belgium. “Recently, sales and inquiries are continuing in Asian markets such as India and Malaysia,” he said. “Belloi is improving product competitiveness to enter the Middle East and African markets with the goal of selling to more than 50 countries in the future.”
